Wandrd Backpack 18L Photo Stratus

The materials and structure of the bag hold to the excellent quality I have come to expect from Wandrd.

A favorite aspect of Wandrd's products continues to be their zippers, and their easy to grasp handles.

I am finding I really like the side access panels for quick item retrieval.

A problem I have always experienced with other larger bags is that when carrying a large load of smaller objects it becomes messy and difficult to access any individual item. The many way to access the bag combined with the internal dividers solves this.

I have also already managed to dump a full water bottle onto the bag with no damage rendered.

My only complaint is that my laptop only just barely squeezes into the bag with signifigant shoving. The bag has height to spare, but only after the fact did I learn that my 16in laptop is unusually wide. Not really the bag's fault.

Perfect size for my carry with thoughtful pocketing and robust build quality

As an owner of a Prvke 21L and Transit Travel Backpack 35L, I was excited when the Stratus was announced, as it seemed like a great daily carry for my needs, and I wasn't wrong.

The side dual-access is perfect for how I want to quickly get to my gear, and the dividers / shelf system is set up in a way that allows for a ton of flexibility in how much space I want dedicated to camera equipment vs other items. I've tested this bag with my X-T3 + XF23mm f/1.4 LM WR and XF70-300mm f/4-5.6 and they all fit just fine with plenty of room to spare -- I even have room in the upper section to fit a hardcover book, which is fantastic.

It's extremely comfortable -- probably the most comfortable photography-centric backpack I've ever used -- and I absolutely love how thick the shoulder straps are. The load-lifters are an added bonus, and I can even attached the waist belts from my Prvke 21L if I want.

My only minor issue with the bag is that the back panel was too rigid for me, but thankfully it is easily removeable and still provide plenty of protection for my laptop and camera equipment.

All in all, I'm so glad that I backed this and it's quickly become my favorite backpack.

Perfect daily camera backpack

I’m thrilled with the STRATUS Photo 18L—it’s exactly what I needed for daily use. The size is perfect for carrying my photography gear, and the material quality is outstanding. What surprised me the most is how comfortable it is, thanks to the curved back panel. Definitely my favorite backpack right now!
