Stratus Photo 18L Love!!!

We were introduced to this backpack in Bora Bora by a friend we met who was carrying this. He took me through the backpack and all of it's compartments. When we got home I immediately went on to the website and bookmarked it. I bought this backpack as a gift for my son who handles social media for multiple companies and is a photographer. I ordered it for Christmas, but it was not going to get in here time, which was fine. I received it the other day and it was smiles from ear to ear. He had heard of this brand and backpack and had been looking at them and was sooo happy to see this as a gift. He has been using it and is absolutely so grateful for this. He says it makes it life easier because everything is in it's place. Thank you for such an amazing product!!

I've been waiting for this Camera Bag for so long!

I've been waiting for a camera bag like this for so long and I'm so happy that I waited and did the research and found Wandrd. I love the Stratus so far and can't wait to have time to really get out there with it. I like that it's so rugged and feels so near indestructible. I'm actually in the process of purchasing the Nimbus now to have that as my EDC bag because of how much I like the Stratus. Cheers to you lot and your success and I can't wait to have a brand new ecosystem of bags from you guys!

Laptop pocket is not super roomy

Got this on the kickstarter. If your laptop is thicker than a current 16" macbook pro you may be wasting your time. I have a 16" pro with a case on it and the computer barely fits. I don't have anything in the bag at the moment. There's a some kind of panel in the back, which I get - it's great for support - but there's no give to the laptop compartment. Also the zipper isn't very wide so you can't really get the pocket open. I had a time of it trying to get my laptop out. Literally holding the laptop and shaking the bag off of it. I've had to purchase a new case for my laptop, so hopefully it's slimmer and works better. And trust me, nothing else will fit in the "super roomy" pocket. There's no way I can put my iPad in there as well. Slightly disappointed. Hopefully I can figure something out before I actually need to use it for gear. As of right now, I don't recommend it for an EDC bag. I thought I was saving myself time and money by getting this one instead of the Nimbus which looks to be more of an EDC bag.

Hey Liz! Thanks so much for your review. From the sounds of it, the top shelf of the camera cube is most likely what's pressing into the laptop sleeve and making it snug. We've seen a lot of success by adjusting the top shelf up or down to allow the laptop sleeve more room for thicker/larger laptops. Hope that helps!
