I haven't had an opportunity to put the rainfly to the test yet, it being sunny California and all. (But a rainy summer trip to Japan is looming.) The strap to secure the rainfly is a nice feature and the materials seem a notch above others that I own.
You haven't asked about my new Prvke 21L, but let me use this opportunity to say that I'm impressed with its features, materials and construction. The Essential Cube is well thought out and functional.
Fits well and I like that there's a pocket in the Prvke for it instead of taking up space in the backpack.
This rain cover will fit all of my backpacks, including my Prvke 21L... I love the extra strap, too.
